About Me

Based between Barcelona and Valencia, with roots in La Ràpita, Tarragona, I am a passionate and versatile electronics engineer with a robust foundation in both theoretical principles and practical application.
I hold a degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), and my academic journey includes a significant period at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne). During my exchange year at EPFL, I conducted my thesis work in the Advanced NEMS Laboratory, focusing on the development of a low-noise transimpedance amplifier circuit board.
My career spans international experience in both Spain and Switzerland, including valuable time with a Swiss startup where I contributed to the development of consumer electronics within stringent size constraints. This experience has honed my ability to adapt and thrive in diverse and challenging environments.
I am a resilient professional, committed to continuous learning and adaptation in this rapidly evolving technological landscape. I consistently stay abreast of the latest developments in electronics and robotics, and I leverage AI as a tool to enhance my work efficiency.
Beyond my technical expertise, I possess a strong market orientation. My capabilities extend beyond traditional engineering, encompassing the entire product lifecycle from design and assembly to sales and market analysis. I am a comprehensive professional, adept at all stages of bringing a product to market.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy skiing, traveling, running, and cycling.
Projects
PALROC - Wearable IoT Gas Meter
Developed a full-stack IoT gas meter prototype for first responders, encompassing hardware design (KiCad, nRF9151 SiP with LTE-M and GNSS), firmware development (C++/Zephyr RTOS), and a cloud backend (OCI/TimescaleDB/HiveMQ/Node.js API/dashboard), supported by a Linux/Docker/Git development environment.

Hobby - ESP32 RTK Hat
Designed a simple PCB to ensure a proper interface between an ESP32 and a UM980 GNSS module in order to create an RTK reference station.

Advanced NEMS Laboratory - Low-Noise Amplifier
Designed and implemented low-noise transimpedance amplifier circuits for nanoelectromechanical systems. Created and assembled 4-layer PCBs using Altium to optimize signal integrity and minimize parasitic capacitances.

Jabil Packaging Solutions - Automation Workstation
During my internship at Jabil Packaging Solutions, I gained hands-on experience in industrial automation. My primary project involved the complete lifecycle of a fully automated factory workstation, from initial design and engineering using OnShape CAD to manufacturing and implementation, utilizing COTS pneumatic actuators. Additionally, I contributed to the broader factory automation efforts by programming existing workstations and production lines with Siemens TIA Portal, and actively participated in their setup and commissioning processes.

University - Electromyography (EMG)
As part of a university project, I developed an analog electromyography (EMG) device. My contributions included designing the back-end analog circuit responsible for filtering the raw EMG signal, utilizing EAGLE CAD for the schematic and layout. I then fabricated the design by soldering the components onto the final PCB. For signal visualization, I programmed an Arduino-based plotter to display the processed analog output. Additionally, I designed and created a fully custom 3D-printed housing for the device using SolidWorks, ensuring a complete and functional prototype.
